MathWorks MATLAB = MathWorks MADLAB

Just installed MATLAB in my computer...
Takes quite a long time for the installation to complete...

First run...

The program windows

Dont have any idea on what to do

Visit the official web

Read the overview
MATLAB® - The Language of Technical Computing
MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables
you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and Fortran.
Ive no formal education in computer programming language, just started Visual Basics but still havent finished the tutorial.

Search in the Youtube for an introduction VDO on MATLAB

I literally WOW at the end of the video. Amazed with MATLAB capability
(credit to stuartmcgarrity for creating this great intoduction tutorial)

But, look like I've to struggle with my programming skills first
then polish my mathematics skills
bfor I can put my hand on MATLAB

I wonder why there are no programming and mathematics courses in my university years.
This software have endless application in Medical Physics (e.g. can visualize the dose distribution for radiotherapy treatment planning)

list of examples
CERR: Computational Enviroment for Radiotherapy Research
RAPT - Monte Carlo Stereotactic Radiosurgery Simulation Software

image source: Registration of dynamic volumetric spiral CT images of the liver

Erm look like my degree course content is a bit outdated. Huhu.
But thats not a reason to be left behind. I guess, I have to work harder.

Wish me luck with this. Hope there'll be only minor head damage from this struggle :D.

Did the video helped you at all?
Any idea of what you wish you had to help you during the start up process?
Thanks!

thx Claudia for dropping by.
The vdo had intrigue my interest.
The tutorial and help function that came with the program has been a great help
will be much better, if it is made in vdo format.
