Female delinquents and sex

It is depressing to read/watch news nowadays, foreign news are packed with war while domestic news are full of reports on crime and moral degradations.

The Star reportd yesterday:
“A study done by UKM on 887 female delinquents (samples were taken from high school, each contribute 20 students with disciplinary problems) found that except for one, all the 887 students admit have had experience the ‘pleasure of the flesh’.”
This means shockingly, from statistical point of view, 99.9% of high school students with disciplinary problem had experience sex. That’s almost 100 percent. And that statistic is for Malaysia, or beloved country. Well, the Islamic Progressive Nation. Hah really?

I’m not writing to judge these delinquents, it’s not totally their faults, I know, most of them came from broken home, and the study founds that the problem committed by these students were due to external pressure from dysfunctional family.

These girls are immature and need guidance, and when there is no such role from parents in their life, they will look for alternative, from their peers, to make them feel accepted, to fulfill their emotional needs. In today’s world of capitalism, most parents are busy with works, and don’t really have time for their children, leaving them struggling.

And maybe, Dr Asri current mufti of Perlis, to stress on openly form of “munkar” than the “behind closed doors” is a great move.

I think the sexual problems have its connection with acceptance of ppls towards the current trend of coupling among young teens. It’s a pain in the eye when I went to the mall during the weekend, come across these couples more close than the married, doing things that is not in line with our culture and what most important is our religion.

Once, when I was having lunch with my fren at a fast food restaurant (well its like a fine dining experience for these young couples) here in Kelantan, I saw this young school boy touching his girl’s part, the girls is a bit reserved but kind of enjoy the experience, ‘ala2 malu2 kucing’, who knows what is next?, There are few girl clans near their table, and even ‘Pak Haji’ nearby (he is not even afraid to him), thank God my cynical stare eventually make him stop (if I’m a macho hunky guy with martial arts, that boy of course will be hospitalize, well im not, a sign of disagreement is the best I can do), well, its not even pleasurable to watch these kids, its disgusting.

What we as a public can do in that kind of situation? Just look and can’t do anything? I think it’s important to take an action at this stage like what had advised by the mufti.

Stop being peeping Tom, it’s not what Islam is.

Prevention is way better, before it is too late!

Your Political Figure?

If I were asked to name a person in politics that I admire, definitely I would say the current President of Iran, Dr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Well, an answer should be followed by reasons. So this is my list...

1. Well educated and bright

In 1976, he took Iran's national university entrance exams to gain admission into Iran's top universities. His test score ranked him 132nd among over 400,000 participants that year, landing him at the prestigious Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) as an undergraduate student of civil engineering.

After the revolution, he entered the Master of Science program for civil engineering in 1984. In 1989, he became a member of the Science faculty at the university whereat he had studied. In 1997, he received his Ph.D. in transportation engineering and planning from the Science and Technology University. (1)

2. A great country leader

His campaign motto during Iran presidential campaign was,"It's possible and we can do it." I think it had been well proven. They are progressive in SciTech, space program, peaceful purposes nuclear technology, and even in bioscience they’re are not left behind (a fren of my who had visited the country last year for a month had observed it himself, their research in science is quite advance, what more important is they are developing the research in sc using their own technology, didn’t depend on others, amazing!)

Though lots of bad claim regarding his leadership in Iraq was published in the press, I think the purpose of the statement are just to disgrace the president (well, there are no ways to satisfy all ppls). Base on facts he was proven a good political leader, before being a president of Iraq he was a Tehran mayor and after two years as mayor, Ahmadinejad was shortlisted in a list of 65 finalists for World Mayor in 2005.(2)

3. Outspoken and strong-minded

Not afraid to criticize big nation. Ahmadinejad is an outspoken critic of the Bush Administration, and has refused to stop the nuclear program of Iran against the wishes of the UN Security Council, which is for peaceful purposes.

He is also outspoken regarding Palestine issue. A conference in Tehran was held to discuss Holocaust which I think very important to be discussed openly. He mentioned that how Holocaust has nothing to do with the Palestinian people and its just a pretext to create the Zionist regime and suppress the Palestinian.

A quote from Wikipedia (3)
“He has been condemned for "calling for Israel to be 'wiped off the map'" and describing the Holocaust as a "myth", although he has insisted that he is "not anti-Jew," and that he "respect[s] them very much."
Although it has been written to make him look like an anti Jews, but I think his point was to condemn the Zionist, not the Jews, because it’s a diff thing!

4. Influential leader

He is Time’s People Who Mattered in 2006.(4)
Quote from the mag…
“Presiden Mahmoud Ahmadinejad isn’t usually loss for words, and interview with time has no exception”.
In the interview, he showed his willingness to diplomatically discuss all the issues raised with the states.
He added that the era for bombs and weapons and atoms has come to an end. The era is over. Now it’s the time for dialogue, logic as well as law and justice.”
Very true indeed.

He also mentioned
Where are the ones who used nuclear bombs in Hiroshima? Now it’s the era of diplomacy where America reluctantly to participate.”
Perception of ppl regarding ‘terrorism’ should hv long affiliated with the US, but apparently its not since the global media is unfair!

5. Has its own blog in 4 languages, Cool huh!

http://www.ahmadinejad.ir/

Quote from the blog, posted on 28/11/2006 entitled “Message to the American people”
We, like you, are aggrieved by the ever-worsening pain and misery of the Palestinian people. Persistent aggressions by the Zionists are making life more and more difficult for the rightful owners of the land of Palestine. In broad day-light, in front of cameras and before the eyes of the world, they are bombarding innocent defenseless civilians, bulldozing houses, firing machine guns at students in the streets and alleys, and subjecting their families to endless grief.
No day goes by without a new crime.
Palestinian mothers, just like Iranian and American mothers, love their children, and are painfully bereaved by the imprisonment, wounding and murder of their children.
For 60 years, the Zionist regime has driven millions of the inhabitants of Palestine out of their homes. Many of these refugees have died in the Diaspora and in refugee camps. Their children have spent their youth in these camps and are aging while still in the hope of returning to homeland.
You know well that the US administration has persistently provided blind and blanket support to the Zionist regime, has emboldened it to continue its crimes, and has prevented the UN Security Council from condemning it.
Who can deny such broken promises and grave injustices towards humanity by the US administration? Governments are there to serve their own people. No people want to side with or support any oppressors. But regrettably, the US administration disregards even its own public opinion and remains in the forefront of supporting the trampling of the rights of the Palestinian people.”

I believe, in todays world of information overload, only ignorance won’t see the truth.

Quote from him at the end of the Time’s interview (4)
We believe American government can’t do anything against us”
I believe that too!

Let us pray to God that peoples of Iran are protected against the greed of the States which is currently playing the same dance and songs they did against Iraq in 2002. Amen.

Cable War Channel?

Maybe the cable (referring to satellite here in Msia) news companies need a re-brand, to the war news channel instead (minus the Al Jazeera, which brings us news quite from every perspective).

First of all, it’s not exactly news they brought to the viewers (considering news is current affairs, meaning things that happen recently). Instead, they are showing the war in Iraq they didn’t win over and over again.

Just now, I watched the BBC’s ‘Hear Your Say’, talking bout the issues of retracting British soldiers from Iraq since theyd achieved some important milestones (they claim stability in Iraq hd regained which is arguable), so they’re reducing the number of troops there.
Ironic is, Bush is urging the need of more troops there.
What more ironic is, they all were not even invited to Iraq at the first place.
The invasion in the label of fight against terrorism cause more violence in Iraq compared bfor, (now Bush is repeating the history on Iran, to invade Iran based on claims not evidence- Aljazeeraa hd shown video clips of Bush talking about invasion of Iran bfor it, now he is talking the same reason to invade Iran, it is like a rewindplay video of his speach). Obviously they never learn invasion is not the answer (well it is just an excuse) And its obvious the invasion is for economic reasons.

Back to the Iraq story, now, more casualties, not just the Iraqis but the military personnel serving there on the government orders while most of the invaders’ nationals didn’t agree on the invasion, which brought us to another question on the democracy system they have. Well, if their democracy was claimed so superior, how come ppls of these countries can’t even pick the right ruler that stays in line with the majority.

Analysis of my logical brain,
First, No foreign troop are required in Iraq.
Second, the democracy system of the states is not that great, so don’t push others to use the so called democracy system, obviously other countries requires other system.

Job interview at a private college

This morning I d attend an interview session at a private college that reminds me of my matriculation college. Well it’s a typical bumi managed institution where everything is quite not so brand new. If u have an experience or know someone studying at the matriculation college or equivalent, u know what I mean. Well that’s not the point; it’s not that I’m going to live there, its just a workplace.

I arrivd a lil bit late, since the location is quite a surprise, well I’m not going to write about that either. But Alhamdulillah, the session didn’t start yet when I stepd in the Admin building.

Im the third person to be called in, I enterd the room (very nervous inside) but still manage to put the fake smile and confident bfor enter. Well as usual, none of the interviewers smile back, mayb mine is too phony : P. Shake hand with the interviewers and sit without being asked to, well I don’t think they will, then it will bcome awkward.

It starts with all the typical questions. I was confuse to use English/mother tongue, but then I convincd my self speaking Malay is safer in that situation. Then they realized im applying for a temp job, without much shock, they can accept the idea of temp job, that’s great! I don’t wanna lie about my commitment to USM.

Then they ask me the expected salary. I was quiet for few secs to think (my mind is screaming, how can I forget to think about ths in advance), then “1800 to 2000 considering my qualifications” came out frm my mouth. Well, the interviewers didn’t really respond, so to make things right, I said actually it depends on you. One of the interviewers came out with an idea of gvg me a probation salary of less than 1K, but I managed to suggest at least more than a K considering the distance between home and the college is quite far (money for transportatn).

Then she describd the role of the post im applying, which is to teach for up to 20 hours perweek, n ask what are the courses I can teach. Well, that’s not all, in addition, she askd me whether I’m willing to do other thing beside lecturg eg arranging chairs plus admin work as she had the experience of employee with masters degree don’t wanna do such works. (I still don’t understand the need for arraging chairs, mayb later I will). But, I managed to stay calm (cause I thought mayb its just a trick to gauge my personality), and answer whats appropriate. Then they came back to personal questions and the conversation eventually bcome informal. At the end, I realized she is from the northern region too, based on the dialect she speak at the closing stages of the intervws and she knows Seb Jaya my hometown pretty well)

The end of the session, a promise to call me in the near future. I hope it is not an empty promise, but a real offer. Cause, I don’t mind being a labor cum lecturer. Huhu really!, desperately need the experience :)
