Subhanallah, an image of the sun recently released by NASA.
NASA's Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory (STEREO) satellites have provided the first three-dimensional images of the sun. For the first time, scientists will be able to see structures in the sun's atmosphere in three dimensions. The new view will greatly aid scientists' ability to understand solar physics and there by improve space weather forecasting.
You can view the 3D image of the 2D image above in the NASA web, but u need a pair of 3D Glasses to appreciate the third dimension. If u don’t have one, u can make one your own using cards and plastics.
Surah 36 Ya-Sin
A sign for them is the night. We strip it of the day, and behold! they are in darkness. And the sun moves (in its course) to a resting-place for it. That is the measuring and ordaining of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. And for the moon We have appointed mansions till it return like an old shriveled palm-leaf. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They float, each in an orbit. (37-40)

sugoi. amazing.
but don't u think.. it looks sad? i dunno much bout science, is sun a living thing? i mean like, having feelings like other living things. if it is, it shud feels sad then.
it is...
Scientifically, No, its just another physical things.
Metaphorically, might be...
Its blue bcos the telescope took the image of the suns's atmospheres at diff range of temperatures to allow scientist to study the suns features. Blue (the coolest) is at 1 million degrees C (freakin hot!)
Praised to Allah...
Thank God for giving us everything...
ability to breath
ability to think
Amin...
:)
Alhamdulillah for all the blessing
